Join the Wyandotte County Emergency Management Team for our next CERT Basic Training course.
This fun 3-day interactive class, open to all adults of all ages and abilities, teaches individuals how to prepare for emergencies and other hazards in their community.
Students learn about basic emergency operations, first aid, light search and rescue, fire safety, and other skills, so they can help themselves and their neighbors until first responders arrive.
The class is FREE and open to those 18 and older. Students who complete the class receive a CERT backpack with emergency supplies.
The training will take place at the UG City Hall (701 N. 7th Street, KCK - Suite B20)
