Hi Everyone, Please help us reach our goal to sell 500 ducks before May 1 by scanning the QR code on the flyer and purchasing your ducks! Although we will have ducks for sale on the day of the race, we will have a limited supply. If you do not have a MySchoolBucks account, you can still use the QR code and create one. Then tap on the SkillsUSA tab and choose the number of ducks that you would like to purchase. There is no additional cost, you will only be charged for the amount of the ducks that you purchase. Once you have done this, we will email you with your duck number(s)! You do not need to be present on race day to win!!
I am one of the Co-Advisors for the AHS Skills USA Chapter at AHS. SkillsUSA is a program for Career and Technical Education (CTE) students. The program offers many opportunities for our students. One is the upcoming State Competition on May1-May3. We have students competing in Robotics, Medical Math, First Aid/CPR, electrical and career pathways showcase. If they come in first place the will move on to Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia at the end of June. We are hosting our first community duck race with all proceeds going to the travel, stay and competition costs for our students. We hope to host this event for many years to come! Our students will crafts and games for the kids!
