This experience is all about connection, community, being seen and being heard.
There is so much healing that happens when we gather together in community and set intentions for ourselves. In this outdoor experience in a public space, we will gather to drum together and experience the energy of sacred circle. We will be working with the four directions, the four elements, the four seasons, and the four bodies.
Bring your drum so we can drum together or a rattle or other instrument. The collective drumming will help all of us move energy. Each participant will have the opportunity to experience receiving the energy at the centre of the circle. Don’t have a drum but still want to be included? We’d love to have you, drumming is not obligatory!
What to bring
As this is an outdoor event, dress accordingly to the weather. If it is forecast to rain or have heavy fog a rain date will be announced. Also bring your drum, a cushion or yoga matt if you would like to sit down, some water, and an open mind to expand and receive.
Location
The location is in downtown Halifax and exact location will be shared when the event approaches. It is on a bus route with ample free parking.
