Come join us for an exciting journey into the world of Latin hand percussion! Our drumming classes are perfect for beginners who are eager to learn the fundamentals of Latin rhythms. Whether you've never picked up a drumstick before or have some basic experience, this class is tailored to meet you where you are.

In this class students will learn the basics of hand drumming on Conga and Bongo drums, as well as other percussion instruments such as the Claves, Guiro, and Cowbells. Students will then apply this knowledge to relevant Latin dance styles including Salsa, Mambo, Cha-Cha, and Tango. Students will learn and perform in a group ensemble setting, regularly trading instruments in order to develop a diversified background on Latin hand percussion.

• Hands-on practice with traditional Latin percussion instruments
• Learn the basics of rhythm, timing, and coordination
• Explore various Latin music styles and their distinctive beats.
