About this Event

Your Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is hosting our next Community Disaster Response Drill in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles.

These drills will rotate around the City of Los Angeles but all are welcome even if you don't live in the area or don't live in the City of Los Angeles.

Come join your community and local CERT Team on Sunday, August 30th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. The drill will start promptly at 10am so please be here BEFORE 9:00am to allow for time to sign in, team organization, and briefing. The drill will end at 12pm and a 30 minute hot wash will be conducted immediately after. We expect to be out of there by no later than 12:30pm.

Location: Intersection of 1st Street & Vista Street, Beverly Grove, California 90036.

This drill will be conducted in person, inside, there is extremely limited street parking nearby so get there early to make sure you get a good spot.

All skill and experience levels are welcome. If you have not trained with us or even if you are not CERT trained, you are welcome to attend and observe or join one of the teams.

If you have them, bring your response bag, vest, flashlight, and FRS radio to get used to carrying your equipment. If you don't, don't worry about it.

There will be positions at the CERT Command Post as well as on the Teams that will be walking the surrounding blocks.
