The South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race invites you to this year’s Integrated Art Circles, a celebration of movement, music, and creativity. Mark your calendars for April 6, 13, 27, May 4, and June 14, and get ready to dance, connect, and create!
Join your friends and neighbors for a series of group dance sessions, where you’ll learn new styles, meet new people, and enjoy great music. Each session features a different dance style, including:
🎶 R&B Line Dance – Led by Zanetta Robinson-Sargent, a renowned Soul Line Dancing instructor with over a decade of experience.
🎶 Greek Traditional Dance – Taught by Sheryl O’Connell, a classically trained dancer who has studied with modern dance greats.
🎶 West African Traditional Dance – Led by Yahaya Kamate, a celebrated dancer and drummer who performed with the National Ballet of Côte d’Ivoire.
🎶 Bhangra Dance – Instructor TBA.
In addition to dance, art circles will provide a space to connect with others while exploring a new art form. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to move, create, and celebrate community through the arts!
