About this Event
On Sunday 14 May, Hounslow Council (LBH) in partnership with LB Hammersmith & Fulham (LBH&F) will be delivering a Community Cycling Day, to celebrate active travel across the two boroughs.
The day will consist of a led cycle ride cycling from Heathfield Terrace in Chiswick to Lyric Square in Hammersmith and back. The led ride is suitable for families and cyclists of all abilities and will be led by qualified ride leaders.
In addition to the led ride, stalls and activities will also be taking place outside Chiswick Town Hall and on Turnham Green. These activities will consist of an exchanging places workshop delivered by the Met Police, a performance by the Bicycle Ballet Co., a second hand Cycle Market by Peddle My Wheels, stalls from LBH’s green and active travel teams, promoting upcoming and ongoing projects and stalls from local cycling and active travel businesses, to promote local business. Food and drink stalls from local businesses may also be made available.
LBH&F will also look to hold stalls and activities near the starting point at Lyric Square.
