When the world feels heavy, we turn to art and community for solace. 💛
Join us for our first Community Create Night, hosted in partnership with KRL, and gather with others to make, share skills, and simply be together.
Our second Community Create Night will be hosted alongside Jackie from Kitsap Regional Library (KRL), who will be guiding a theme of Practice & Inspiration.
This theme invites us to explore the creative process in a gentle way. Sometimes creating is about trying something new, sometimes it’s about returning to a craft we love, and sometimes it’s simply about showing up and letting inspiration find us.
This event is free, open to all, and low-pressure by design. Write to your representatives, knit something for a neighbor, work on zines to share, sketch, stitch, or just sit in the company of others.
Come as you are. Create what you can. Stay as long as you’d like.
We can’t wait to gather with you. 💫
You’re welcome to bring a project you’re already working on or explore something new with shared materials and prompts. Whether you’re sketching, writing, stitching, collaging, or starting a small zine, this space is about practicing creativity and sharing it in community.
Free and open to all.
(We will also be including the 2026 WK Artist Cohort, who will be woking along side you/each other as they prepare to print giant linoleum cavings at the art festival in June.)
