Firefighter Community CPR

Join us for an exciting event where we will learn life-saving skills in a fun and interactive way! At our Community CPR class, you will have the opportunity to learn CPR techniques from your Pflugerville firefighters and gain the confidence to help others in emergency situations. This in-person event will take place at 203 E Pecan St, Pflugerville, TX, USA. Don't miss out on this chance to make a difference in your community!

Overview of the importance of CPR and First Aid

Brief discussion on the difference between adult, child, and infant CPR techniques
9:30 am - 10:15 am: CPR for Adults

Recognition of cardiac arrest in adults
Hands-only CPR demonstration and practice
Integration of AED use in adult CPR
10:15 am - 10:30 am: Break

Refreshments and networking
10:30 am - 11:15 am: CPR for Children and Infants

Recognizing cardiac emergencies in children and infants
CPR techniques tailored for children and infants
Practice sessions for child and infant CPR
11:15 am - 11:45 am: First Aid Basics

Common medical emergencies (choking, bleeding, etc.)
Hands-on practice for basic first aid techniques
Integration of first aid with CPR procedures
