DID YOU KNOW THAT 1 in 10 TORONTONIANS NOW RELY ON FOOD BANKS?*Food insecurity is rising in every corner of the city because of systemic barriers, economic inequality, and policy failure.
This educational event is an opportunity to learn about the root causes of food insecurity in Toronto. Together, we'll explore how communities can move beyond charity toward food justice — advocating for change that nourishes bodies and dignity alike.
Our hope is that this gathering will spark the formation of a working group focused on food justice advocacy in the east end and beyond.
