Calvin Presbyterian Church is proud to announce the launch of its new program, Community Connections, an initiative, designed to connect local nonprofit organizations and dedicated volunteers. We will host regular events where groups can share their mission and discuss ways community members can get involved. The first event will take place in the church's fellowship hall on Tuesday October 14th at 7:00pm with the Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry. We'll hear from a NRFP representative and then have time to chat and connect over light refreshments. Come here what's new at the Food Pantry and what you can do to get involved!
The program aims to serve as a bridge between community needs and the individuals eager to make a difference - high school students looking for volunteer hours, families looking to serve the community together, individuals who want to help but aren't sure how to get started, and those just wanting a reminder of the good we can do together. All are welcome - bring a friend!
