About this Event

Learn all about community composting in the heart of Bushwick, alongside Big Reuse and El Garden volunteers, through chopping and decontaminating food scraps, processing yard waste, and turning and mixing the compost piles!

Plan ahead: Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated.

Directions: El Garden is located at 120 Jefferson St, zip code 11206. Accessible by M and L trains.
