Community Composting with Big Reuse and Tehuti Ma'at Community Garden

We will be helping Tehuti Ma'at Community Garden set up their new aluminum community compost bins and learning how to use these shiny, rat-proof durable compost system.

"Tehuti Ma'at Community Garden is a food sovereignty project dedicated to bringing healthy food to its community in Weeksville, a historical neighborhood that was one of the first and largest sovereign black communities in pre-Civil War America. Help the garden make healthy soil for its Organic Food for the People program!

Wear comfortable, sun-protective clothing you don't mind getting dirty and bring a water bottle.
