About this Event

Time to be held. Honor your transformation with a sacred Community Closing Ceremony. Healing, reflection, & support for Black mamas. RSVP.

You have navigated the profound journey of pregnancy and birth. It is time to be honored. Join us for a sacred, culturally rooted ceremony designed to acknowledge your transformation and gently close this powerful chapter.

The Closing Ceremony is an ancient, global postpartum healing ritual lovingly adapted by SisterWeb doulas. This practice helps to restore harmony and well-being after birth, close the birth portal—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and release trauma or tension from your journey. This ceremony is a powerful rite of passage, preparing your energy for future cycles and growth.

This event is free and exclusive to Black/African-American-identified patients and clients. We welcome: SisterWeb Clients and UCSF Black Patients (6 weeks to 6 months postpartum)

African-American-identified Space is strictly limited to 10 mamas per event to ensure a sacred, intimate, and hands-on experience. Please register only if you meet the eligibility criteria.
