Community Climate Summit: Your Home. Your Wallet. Your Climate.
About this Event
What if the choices that are good for the environment could also be good for your wallet, your home, and your community?
Join Accelerate Neighborhood Climate Action (ANCA) for Your Home. Your Wallet. Your Climate., a FREE community summit designed to connect you with practical ideas, local experts, and resources you can actually use.
What can you expect?
You'll hear from community organizations and experts on everyday ways to become a more climate-conscious consumer — from saving energy and reducing household costs to making smarter financial decisions, composting, gardening, conserving water, reusing and repurposing, transportation options, housing resources, climate advocacy, and more.
But this isn't just about listening to presentations.
You'll also have time to meet community organizations, ask questions, discover programs you may not know about, and connect with resources that can help you take your next step.
Whether you own a home, rent, are already making climate-conscious choices, or are simply wondering "What can I actually do?" — this summit is for you.
11:00 AM–1:00 PM — Presentations
1:00–2:00 PM — Community resources, conversations & networking
Community Market Exchange
Have something you no longer need that someone else could use?* Bring it! We'll have a Community Market Exchange where attendees can bring gently used items to share and take something they can use — no buying or selling, just neighbors sharing with neighbors.
Bring something. Take something. Give it another life.
*For example: clean, gently used household items, books, small décor, reusable goods, etc.; no large furniture, hazardous materials, or items in poor condition.
