Exhibition and mending workshop will be open all day for drop-ins. Bring along a piece of clothing in need of some love, and the workshop facilitator can show you some techniques for repair or customisation!

Remode Textile Exhibition

Through the Mill – Stories of Resilience and Renewal is an exhibition from Paisley based organisation Remode, that brings together the creative outcomes of a nine-month journey exploring Paisley’s rich textile heritage and its links to today’s environmental and climate challenges. Showcasing handmade garments, mending, banners of resistance, and upcycling, the exhibition reflects on the environmental impact of the textile industry while celebrating sustainable skills and community resilience. By blending heritage with environmental activism, Through the Mill invites visitors to consider how creativity, tradition, and collective action can help shape a more sustainable future.

Scottish Coastal Clean Up Documentary

Shaping Our Shores, presented by Shian Denovan and filmed across Scotland, is a powerful documentary exploring the impact of marine plastics on our ecosystems, wildlife, and coastal communities. Created with EssBeeFlix Studios and Caledonian Horticulture, the film highlights the inspiring work of the Scottish Coastal Clean Up project by the charity Balanced Horizon. Through personal stories and stunning Scottish landscapes, Shaping Our Shores reveals both the urgency of the environmental crisis and the hope found in collective action to protect our shores.
Climate Future Film Festival

This lineup brings together short films from four continents, each offering a unique perspective on climate change. We’ve selected our favourites across a range of genres, from drama and documentary to comedy and award-winning animation. Together, these films capture the full spectrum of emotional and intellectual responses to the climate crisis.
Glasgow University Fashion Revolution Mending Session (GUFR)

Glasgow University Fashion Revolution is a student-led society advocating for sustainable and ethical fashion. The group raises awareness of fashion’s impact on people and the planet through events that inspire more conscious clothing choices. During the exhibition, a member of GUFR will host mending drop-in sessions, offering hands-on guidance in repairing or refreshing your clothes — so bring along something that needs fixing or a creative new twist!

Alyson - 2050 Climate Group

2050 Climate Group is a Scotland-based youth-led organisation that empowers young people to take action on climate change. Through leadership training, events, and community projects, they support the next generation of leaders to drive a just and sustainable transition to a low-carbon future.

Kerrie - Scottish Coastal Clean Up

Scottish Coastal Clean Up is a volunteer-led initiative dedicated to protecting Scotland’s coastlines by organising regular beach clean-ups and raising awareness about marine pollution. The project brings communities together to take practical action for cleaner, healthier seas.

Lauren - Merry Go Round

Merry-Go-Round Glasgow is a community reuse charity based in the Southside of Glasgow, providing affordable, preloved baby and children’s items. It supports families through sustainable shopping, donations, and community events that promote reuse and reduce waste.

Violet - Sustainability Spectrum Instagram / Environmental Activist

Violet is an environmental activist involved in a range of sustainability projects across Scotland. They run an Instagram account that helps people make more sustainable choices and stay informed about petitions, campaigns, and environmental initiatives happening around the country.
