Ever wondered how cities fund major improvement projects like streets, facilities, utilities and infrastructure upgrades?Join the City of Columbia for the next Community Classroom, featuring a presentation from Finance staff about municipal bonds. Giving you an insight on what they are, how they work, and how the City uses them to help fund large capital improvement projects throughout the community.
These interactive learning sessions are designed to help residents better understand City services, departments and the work happening behind the scenes to support Columbia’s future.
