Featuring a stellar cast including Pierce Brosnan, Helena Bonham Carter, and Gabriel Byrne, this is a film about young love, family upheaval and the magic of destiny.
Set across 1970s Dublin and a windswept Irish island, the story follows two young souls, Nicholas and Isabel , whose lives seem destined to intersect despite the obstacles in their way. Meanwhile, Isabel’s father and mother navigate loss and loyalty; and Nicholas’s father throws aside a safe civil-service life after a moment of spiritual reckoning.
