Tis the season to celebrate and sing. Godfrey-Lee Listeners is planning a Community Christmas Tree for our neighborhood. A symbol of the joy of the holiday season that is coming. It is also a way to encourage people to celebrate the Joy of the holiday season.Reyes Building and Exteriors is willing to have a Community Christmas Tree put up in the parking lot at Chicago Drive and Wendler for the month of December!
On Sunday, December 6th there will be a tree lighting celebration at 5 pm. There will a time to sing some familiar Christmas carols in English and Spanish. There will be a small gift bag with candy canes and candy for children. Hot chocolate and cookies will also be served. Families are invited to bring non perishable food items for the UCOM food pantry.
