Community Chess Tourney @ The General

Join us on April 11th for a unique experience that will be happening at Men's Modern General Store. A casual, family-friendly Chess Tournament.

And we play until it’s over! The purpose of this is focused on fun, community, & supporting a great cause at the Child Advocacy Center.

We want to foster friendly competition, strengthening skills at chess, and giving kids an opportunity to show up the adults!

Tournament details:
• Two brackets… Adult (18 & Up) & Child (6-17)
• $20 entry fee
• Winner takes 1/2 the pot…the other half is donated to the Child Advocacy Center
• Winners of each bracket will face off in an Adult vs Child Championship Game!
• 30 minute time limit per game (championship game excluded)

This event is designed to be easygoing & welcoming to all skill levels… whether you are competitive or just enjoy the game.Snacks and sodas will be available for purchase as well.

Our goal is simple.
Bring people together, have fun playing chess, & support a meaningful cause.
