Join us for Community Chats: – A Celebration of Global Cultures!We invite you to an event that is designed to bring our community together through the power of storytelling, interactive experiences, and meaningful conversations.
You will hear a short story from Ylva from Sweden, Carmina from Mexico and Veronika from the Hungarian Roma community.
We will open discussion and encourage participants to talk about their interactions with other cultures, language learning, cultural heritage, etc.
Join us for an unforgettable experience as we explore and celebrate the richness of global cultures!

at the Stone Tables Picnic Pavilion on White Rock Lake (680 East Lawther Dr., Dallas, TX, 75218)

The purpose of this event is to engage with a topic and build connections with our neighbors. This event is open to all. You do NOT have to be a church member to participate. We extend a warm invitation especially to those who doesn't attend church, enriching our dialogue with diverse perspectives.
More about the program:
We have started an experiment as part of our progress with the Congregations Lead Initiative (a national program with the ELCA). The goal of this experiment is to foster connections between members and neighbors. Four times a month, Wednesdays and Saturdays, we will lead discussion groups in various places in the neighborhood. During these discussions, there will be a central theme that we will ask meaningful questions about. As we open discussion, we hope to learn more about each other on a deeper level. Other Meeting Dates are:
