Community Café at KPL

A monthly event in the Van Deusen Room on the third floor of Kalamazoo Public Library's Central branch, downtown. It features free coffee and refreshments (e.g. bananas, granola bars), "while supplies last". It's a good time to talk to and play board games with other KPL patrons and staff.
This event series has had three previous names: Coffee & Conversations, Coffee & Connections, Hygge Hangout (that hard to pronounce Danish name lasted only a month). This event used to offer free donated clothing and hygiene supplies. Those items are now available daily in the Community Closet, located on the first floor behind the reference desk.
