Community Building Through Conversations

This will be a safe space for participants to share experiences to create awareness, discover community resources to become empowered, and get CONNECT’d*. Please assist us by sharing this resource with the community. Details about the group can be found below or on the attached flyer.

Who: All women, women-identifying individuals, and non-binary and gender non-conforming individuals that are residents of East New York comfortable in a space that centers women’s experiences.

*CONNECT is a community-based program in East New York that expands the capacity of existing behavioral health programs by engaging the clinic’s surrounding community in the development and design of enhanced services. The program seeks to address perceived norms around mental illness and build interventions that are more responsive to individuals’ and community’s needs. CONNECT empowers through education, intervention, and connection.
