Let’s celebrate summer and new spaces together at a Community Block Party! Sunday, June 9, will begin with 9:01 Worship On the Lawn, followed by the 10am and 11am worship services. Meet us back in the Sanctuary at 3pm for an amazing organ and piano recital. Dr. Peiyao Yu, a prize-winning artist, will wow you with her incredible talent. The recital will include works by Duruflé, Liszt, and Guillou.
Following the concert, at 4pm, head outside to the new Centennial Park for a free Community Block Party! All are welcome! The event will feature carnival games, a huge bounce house, glitter tattoos, crafts, a photo booth, and more. Meet several of our Community Partners including River of Refugee, Sheffield Place, Crosslines and others. In addition there will be live music throughout the event including an amazing Jazz Trio! Fill your tummies with four different food trucks. Some seating will be available but you are welcome to bring your own chairs or blankets! Both events are great opportunities to invite friends!
