THE SHOW
Jessie ‘Jetski” Johnson directs a live band of her favorite musicians and comedians who perform new, original arrangements of popular songs each week.
An ensemble of players from the comedy and music worlds to join Jessie live on stage to play together as a band for the very first time. She whips them into shape in a warmup, play-through, one-on-one coaching, interviews, and a final performance at the end of the show.
As a classically trained trumpet-player-turned-standup-comedian with years of teaching experience, this show combines Jessie’s passions for music and comedy in an all-new live, experimental, immersive show in LA. She’ll host the show, arrange each piece of music, and direct the band with her hilarious, no-nonsesnse teaching style.

THE ENSEMBLE
- Core Players -- Musicians who love comedy and are ready to showcase their own talent on stage.
- Rotating Players -- Comedians who play instruments and are selected to be Jessie’s protégés for the night.
- Special Guests -- Professional musicians from across LA join the group and have a blast from band-class-past.
ABOUT JESSIE
Jessie "Jetski" Johnson is a music school drop-out and trumpet player turned stand-up comedian from Phoenix, now blossoming in Los Angeles. She is a paid regular at the World Famous Comedy Store and frequently performs at the Comedy Mothership in Austin. She is a cast member on two of the most popular comedy podcasts today: the K*ll Tony Podcast and the Bad Friends Podcast with Andrew Santino and Bobby Lee.
