Join us for a free opening celebration and reception on Thursday, September 12. Artwork on display represents the teaching artists who facilitate classes in our Community Access Program. Enjoy original poetry, music by DJ Mixxa Miyani, and complimentary refreshments. Teaching artists will be in attendance to discuss their work. The exhibition will be on view in the Herbert Galleries of the Education Wing from September 5 – 29.
Program Schedule:
4:45 – 5 pm: Introduction and Remarks
5 – 5:15 pm: Poetry by Aminah Muhammad
5:30 – 5:45 pm: Poetry by Kelsey Bigelow
6 – 7 pm: DJ Mixxa Miyani
