Welcome to Communitas - Summer Patio Edition at Grape Witches! Join us for a night of good vibes, great company, and amazing wines under the summer stars.

I'm testing a different format to keep entry fee low - it will cover an initial round of wine bottles and light snacks. Any additional drinks, the lovely lady conossieurs at Grape Witches will be happy to recommend bottles for your individual purchase.

As with our first gathering last year, this isn't a “business networking” group so there is intentionally no structured agenda - we all think about work enough! This is a casual space for warm community, new friendships, and laughs.

Event is happening rain or shine -- if it's rainy, we have an alternate (indoor) plan.

What is Communitas?
An invite-only occasional gathering in Toronto for female (or those who identify as female) execs in tech who are in non-founder/CEO roles. It's not easy being an exec leader in tech -- and the more community, the better.
We meet at interesting drink & dining destinations occasionally through the year in a warm, intimate, casual setting with a curated guest list of 4-8 people.
High-value connection in a low key, non-salesly environment.
Why?
Community means safety, a shared space, a warm connection.
The premise is simple: good things happen when you get good people in a room together.
The goal is to create a space for female exec leaders in tech, in non-CEO/founder roles, doing interesting things to get together and meet each other in a relaxed, enjoyable environment.
No speeches, no awkward introductions, no sponsors, no forced topics, and no selling.
Who attends?
The attendees are leaders and innovators in tech - a mix bag across disciplines, but joined by their growth mindset, love of conversation and connection, and egolessness.
This isn't a “business networking” group - this is a safe space for warm community, new friendships, and shared support, where you can bring your authentic self.
So we're agnostic to function or startup size, and focus on the great people and great environment.
We want people with shared values but different backgrounds to collide.
The only real rule is – no selling.
