About this Event
Presented by the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center
Clear, respectful, and effective communication is essential to collaboration, productivity, and professionalism in today’s manufacturing and business environments. This workshop focuses on strengthening day-to-day workplace communication skills, with an emphasis on the role of emotional intelligence in professional interactions.
Participants will explore best practices for communicating clearly and effectively. The session addresses tone, clarity, and intent, along with how messages can be interpreted differently depending on context, stress, and individual communication styles.
Through practical examples, simulated situations, and guided discussion, the workshop helps attendees develop strategies for communicating professionally in routine interactions as well as more sensitive or challenging situations. Emphasis is placed on applying these skills in real manufacturing and business settings to improve teamwork and workplace relationships.
All individuals and groups may benefit from this workshop. Participants will leave with greater confidence in their professional communication skills, a stronger awareness of emotional intelligence, and practical tools to communicate more effectively and respectfully in the workplace.
