Commonwealth Prayer Breakfast 2023

Dear Friend,

The 2023 Commonwealth Prayer Breakfast is just five weeks away! Tickets for the Breakfast on January 11, 2023 are now available.

For more than a half-century, the Commonwealth Prayer Breakfast has been held on the day when the General Assembly convenes and the Governor delivers the State of the Commonwealth address. It is fitting to start such an important day by acknowledging our dependence on our Creator.

We are excited that Paul Trible will be our guest speaker. He is a one of Virginia’s most notable leaders of this generation. A former congressman and senator, he is best known as the transformational president of Christopher Newport University. He retired this year after more than a quarter century in that role, where he encouraged many thousands of young Virginians to lead “lives of significance.” He will speak to us about the centrality of faith, prayer, and fellowship to his life. Governor Glenn Youngkin has also been invited to speak, and we will have two memorable musical presentations.

The Commonwealth Prayer Breakfast will be on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 7:00 a.m. in the Greater Richmond Convention Center Ballroom. Individual tickets are $50. Please consider hosting a table of 10 for $500 (plus processing fees).

Our nation is divided today in many ways, and we face significant challenges. Yet, through faith there is much that unites us and much to be thankful for. As the new year begins, we look forward to praying with you for wisdom and guidance for our public servant leaders.
