Join us for another evening of live music, drinks, dinner, and friendship at South Bay Pub! This month features the local stylings of Casey Meehan & The Common Thread. As always, entry is free and our kitchen and bar will be serving up libations while you get down with some of Olympia's best Americana and Blues!The Common Thread is an Olympia-based Americana music trio emanating a crockpot of sound mixing together soaring fiddle, stomp-and-holler, electric guitar, punchy bass, catchy melodies and timely harmonies.
Their live set lists are comprised of original compositions and covers from their favorite artists.
The Common Thread's songwriting draws inspiration from a wide variety of artists including song-crafters Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Jason Isbell and Sara Watkins juxtaposed with early 70's funk outfits The Meters, Bill Withers, Herbie Hancock and Buddy Miles.
