Session 3: Pottery and Pages
Thurs. February 26, 2026 | 10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.
City of Orlando Pottery Studio
800 Grand St. Unit B
Orlando, FL 32805
More Information: Join us for a creative and relaxing morning where art and conversation come together. Participants will shape and paint their own ceramic bowl, guided by the City of Orlando Pottery Studio. The studio will glaze and fire each piece, and PJI will collect all finished pottery once ready. Completed pieces will be available for pick-up at the PJI office within 2–3 weeks.
While our hands are busy creating, we’ll also engage in a thoughtful, welcoming discussion of the book with fellow participants - making space for reflection, connection, and shared inspiration. No prior pottery experience needed; just bring your curiosity and creativity!
About the Common Read: This book club was set up by PJI in 2019 to encourage a common read of books related to the theme of Creating a Resilient Community. Together, we explore books that inspire understanding of Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs), resilience, wellness, and healing.
Be part of a community dedicated to positive change, where each discussion deepens our knowledge and strengthens our collective resilience. Let’s build a brighter, more connected future together – it’s about us!
