7pm event start(sign up list available from about 6.30pm)
7.05pm open mic (once the list is full it's full - one poem each, or two shorties to give everyone a chance :D)

8.20ish re-begin, featured sets
Suggested £5 please on the door. It helps to pay for time, artists, advertising costs, & is deeply appreciated.
All are welcome to listen and share spoken art, thoughts, words, poetry, heart. Some of you will be long time professionals and celebrated artists in your field. Some of you will never have gotten up in public before. Some of you will just want to listen. It is all welcome and all has merit.
I created Common Ground Spoken Word (Kā Tūka Toikupu in NZ) to be a warm, brave, welcome space - a place to listen to one another, in respect, in celebration, sharing brave new work or old favourites, sitting, standing, sharing common ground. So yeah, come along, be cool, no hate speech, mostly anything else goes.
Gratitude to Späti for their warm hospitality for this one off event.
V tasty selection of drinks and also 0% alcohol alternatives if you're off the booze like yours truly.
