Committee Crafts: Seeds to Shamrocks

On Thursday 19th March, Graft is taking over the Committee Room upstairs at Ulster Sports Club for a night of live music and making!

Join us for an interactive workshop with Cúpla Designs, the Belfast-based brand run by Donegal twins Mirren and Brodie McFeely, whose playful designs draw on Irish phrases, humour and the culture they grew up around. Also joining us is Lucky in Love Studios, the practice of Belfast textile artist Grace Thacker. Her tactile mixed-media work — from soft sculpture and hardware to embroidery — explores storytelling, memory, and the beauty of imperfection. They will share their insights into designing and making in Belfast, and guide us as we collectively create a brooch — a unique, wearable piece to take home from the workshop!

Live music on the night comes from howru , the slowcore indie project of Belfast singer-songwriter and producer Thom Southern, whose introspective sound has built a devoted following since forming in 2024, with over 9 million global streams.
