About this Event

Commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, LGBTQ History Month and National Coming Out Day with a free community screening of FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS, a short film from the independent feature film anthology TRANS LOS ANGELES, which center the stories, challenges, and triumphs of LA's diverse trans community.

FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS - A Salvadoran Trans Woman seeking refugee asylum in the US confronts the disappearance of her boyfriend while crossing the US/Mexico border, the arrest of a Trans female friend by ICE agents, and her own baptism by an LGBTQ affirming pastor days before her birthday.
