Coming Into LifeA 4-day somatic water immersion
A structured, progressive process working through the body, nervous system, and relational experience — in warm water and on land.
The retreat is built in two parts.
Each part can be taken separately, or combined into a full 4-day immersion for deeper integration.
STRUCTURE
Part 1 (Aug 28–29) — Safety & Connection
The first two days focus on establishing a clear foundation.
We work with:
— nervous system regulation
— physical and relational safety
— restoring contact with the body
— developing sensitivity and awareness
— moving in water through the spine rather than effort
This stage builds the conditions for deeper work.
Participants learn how to orient, regulate, and stay in contact — with themselves and with others.

Part 2 (Aug 30–31) — Contact & Emergence
The second part builds directly on this foundation.
We move into:
— how contact forms and breaks
— early developmental and prenatal layers
— patterns of expression, visibility, and response
— how we enter relationship and interaction
The work becomes more precise and relational.
Participants explore how internal experience translates into contact and presence.
The process culminates in an embodied “birth” experience on the final day —
a structured integration of the full 4-day process.

Water provides a specific working environment where:
— the body can reorganize without excess effort
— the nervous system can shift into regulation
— early, pre-verbal patterns can be accessed through direct experience

FACILITATORS
Led by Annie Brook
Founder of the Annie Brook Institute and a leading figure in the field of somatic psychology.
Annie Brook, Ph.D., has been working for decades at the intersection of body-based psychotherapy, early developmental trauma, attachment, and applied neuroplasticity.
Her work is known for its depth, precision, and direct integration of early and pre-verbal layers of human experience into therapeutic practice.
Co-facilitated by Olesya Uglova
Olesya Uglova is a psychologist, somatic therapist, and systemic sex therapist working internationally with individuals and groups.
Her work is grounded in body-based therapy and the nervous system, with a focus on early developmental processes, relational patterns, and embodied experience.
She leads retreats and group programs that support deep contact, integration, and sustainable change.
