Coming Home: How Enneagram Type Shapes Our Spiritual Practice
About this Event
Coming Home: How Enneagram Type Shapes Our Spiritual Practice
with Nhien Vuong, JD, MDiv.
An Enneagram-informed exploration of contemplative, interspiritual, and wholeness-based spirituality
What might an Enneagram-informed, wholeness-based spirituality look like?
Many of us long for a deeper spiritual life—and yet sustaining a meaningful spiritual practice can sometimes feel surprisingly difficult.
Through the lens of the Enneagram, this contemplative workshop offers an introduction to how each personality type uniquely approaches the spiritual journey, including some of the unconscious patterns and defenses that can either deepen or obstruct presence.
The workshop will include teaching, reflection, contemplative practices, and experiential exploration.
Together, we will explore:
- The unique spiritual longings and challenges of each Enneagram type
- How personality patterns can both support and obstruct presence
- The differing ways each type relates to contemplative silence, solitude, and stillness
- Compassionate pathways toward greater authenticity, freedom, and wholeness
Rooted in contemplative and interspiritual wisdom traditions, this workshop invites new and longtime Enneagram students alike into a deeper experience of “coming home” — to the body, the heart, the present moment, and the deeper ground of being beneath personality itself.
