Join us in person at UKV this Sunday, June 16, when Ron Sowell will lead a group of amazingly talented bluegrass artists offering special music during the service. You’ll hear David Mayfield on mandolin and vocals, Steven Moore on banjo, Lars Swanson on stand-up bass and Ron on guitar and vocals – and maybe an additional fiddle player, too!David Mayfield is an accomplished singer/songwriter, who is a virtuoso on both mandolin and guitar and has been featured on Mountain Stage several times. Steven Moore is a member of David’s band (David Mayfield Parade) and is a two-time National Banjo Champion. Lars Swanson is a multi-instrumentalist in Beckley who regularly performs with Landau Eugene Murphy and The Long Hollow String Band.
