Join instructor and comic artist Sarah Hynfield in discussing two books about gentrification, A Changing City written by Kalli Langdon and illustrated by Molly Audretch, Rain Magrum, Finley Nguyen, Jamie Schorsch, and Leah Stolla, and Gentrification by Ivan Bautista and learn about the impact of gentrification on our community and the effect it has on those experiencing it. Afterwards, we’ll have a group brainstorming session and come up with our own ideas for a comic story about gentrification.
