Comic Con has evolved! To all the cosplayers out there, this year we are planning to put your skills to the test!

• Test your cosplay and crafting skills in a serious cosplay contest! あなたの力作をご披露ください！

• Open to both SOFA and non-SOFA contestants! アメリカ人、日本人に関わらずご参加いただけます

• This is an individual cosplay contest (group costumes are not allowed). 個人のみエントリー可能（グループ不可）

• Competitors can only enter once, and only wear one costume per competition. 各個人一回のみのエントリー可能、別の衣装で２回目のエントリーは出来ません。

• Cosplays will be judged on the following criteria: 評価基準

o Needlework – Cosplay constructed primarily through sewing, stitching, embroidery, etc. 裁縫/刺繡技術

o Armor – Cosplay constructed primarily by molding and shaping the costume’s outer layers using acrylic, EVA foam, Worbla, Wonderflex, cardboard, etc. 鎧-アクリルやEva素材、Worbla、Wonderflez、段ボールなどで作られていること

o FX (Special Effects) – Cosplay that primarily features animatronics, optical effects, mechanical effects, special effects makeup, prosthetics, etc. 特殊エフェクト-アニマトロニクスコスプレや特殊メイクなど

o Best in Show – The judges pick the overall best-in-show. The costume can be from any of the other categories (Needlework, Armor or FX). A contestant cannot win another category AND the best-in-show. 優秀賞－ カテゴリー別に審査委員たちが優秀賞を選びます。優秀賞受賞者は他のカテゴリーでの同時受賞は出来ません。

• Competitors must be 16 years old or older to participate. １６歳以上であること

• A total of 60% of the competitor’s costume must be made by the person wearing the costume. コスチュームの60％以上が手作りであること

• At least 75% of the costume must be complete by the time the competitor registers to compete. エントリーの際にコスチュームが75％以上完成していること

• All competitors must provide MCCS Entertainment with a brief description of their costume for the main stage MC to read at the event (limited to 100 words). すべての出場者は、コンテストの前にコスチュームについての説明文をMCCS Entertainmentに提出してください（100字以内）

For Contestants under 18 years of age, their parent or guardian has read, understood and expressly agrees to all event rules and terms.１８歳未満のコンテスト参加については、保護者の方がこのルール読み、理解し、明確に同意する必要があります。
