One collector. Sixty years of buying. Around 1,650 books, and almost none of it is filler. Best of all 10% of all sales will purchase new comics for kids!
THE PRICE DROPS AS THE DAY GOES ON:
- 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. — 15% off fair market value
- 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. — 20% off
- 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. — 25% off
Every raw book valued at $10 or more has been graded by hand — 753 of them — and priced against real completed sales, not guide fantasy. Those books carry the large majority of the collection's value. Below $10, books are sorted and priced by the box, and you're welcome to dig.
Come at ten and you get first look at every key in the collection. Wait until two and you save more — on whatever is left.
That's the whole game. Best selection early, best price late. The Fantastic Four #48 is not going to be sitting there at 2 p.m.
HOW IT WORKS:
- No holds. First money takes the book. We won't set anything aside for you to come back for at a lower tier.
-No haggling until 2:30. The price on the book is the price. We've done the work of grading and pricing honestly and we're not going to relitigate it across the table all morning.
- No haggling until the last 30 minutes of the vent.
- Everything we do not sale will be sold online.
This is a single private collection being sold a the family. It's overwhelmingly Silver and Bronze Age — about 780 books from the 1960s and 720 from the 1970s — with runs deep enough to actually fill holes instead of just adding odd issues.

WHY WE DO THIS:
Hero's Legacy is a collector's estate sale company. Families come to us when someone they love leaves behind a lifetime of collecting, and we help them find what it's genuinely worth instead of watching it go for pennies or sit in a basement another decade.
10% of net proceeds buys brand-new comics for kids at Title I elementary schools across North Carolina. A collection that started with one kid falling in love with a comic should end by putting comics into more kids' hands.
Everything bagged and boarded. Hand-graded above $10, honest box pricing below it. Cash and cards accepted. Outdoors, rain or shine — come early for the keys.
