About this Event
Welcome to Comfort Cafe!
Comfort Café is a welcoming monthly community gathering held at Meeting Point House, designed to provide a safe, supportive, and friendly space for anyone affected by cancer, whether personally, through a loved one, or as a carer.
Taking place on the last Monday of every month from 3:00pm – 4:30pm, Comfort Café offers an opportunity for people to come together, share experiences, access support, and connect with others in a relaxed and understanding environment.
What to Expect on the 29th of June
Visitors can expect:
- A warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Friendly conversations and peer support
- Tea, coffee, and cake
- A safe space to talk or simply listen
- Opportunities to meet others facing similar experiences
- Information about local support services and community resources
- An inspirational talk from Dawn Williams- Cancer survivor and olympian
There is no pressure to speak or share — attendees are welcome to simply drop in, enjoy a drink, and spend time in supportive company.
