Get ready for Comfort and Joy Week at the ECC! 🎊 🌈 ❄️From Sunday, December 15, through Saturday, December 21, we’re spreading warmth, creativity, and connection with a full lineup of holiday-themed activities for everyone to enjoy.
Here’s what’s happening:
Sunday, December 15th | 2-5pm
Gather your friends and family for a cozy afternoon at the ECC! We’ll be screening Emmett Otter’s Jug Band Christmas, complete with free hot cocoa and popcorn. A Sunday the whole family can enjoy!
Monday, December 16th | All Day
A special gift for you! Thanks to Frannie Peabody, the ECC, Maine TransNet, and EQME, we’ll have wellness gifts waiting for you under the Gay Tree. Stop by anytime between Monday and Saturday to pick one up. Also, you are welcome to join the Lavendar Choir during their rehearsal between 6-7pm for an evening of holiday carols.
Tuesday, December 17th | All Day
Join us for a day of creativity and togetherness! Make cards, decorate ornaments, and enjoy free hot cocoa, popcorn, and cookies. In the evening, gather for Holiday Poetry with Port Veritas at 8pm.
Wednesday, December 18th | All Day
Knit, craft, and watch holiday movies throughout the day at the ECC. At 7pm, Maine TransNet will host Holiday Movie Night - Merry & Gay - a perfect way to relax and connect.
Thursday, December 19th
*10am-12pm: Join the EQME Network for Older Adults for a festive Holiday Brunch.
*2-4pm: ECC staff, board volunteers, tenants and partners are invited to join us for our annual ECC Holiday Party.
Friday, December 20th | 4-7pm
Queer youth are invited to a special Drop-In space to decorate cookies, play holiday games, and make holiday crafts with peers.
Saturday, December 21st | 11am-6pm
Shop local and support artists at the Loquat Shop Winter Art Market. Find unique gifts and finish your holiday shopping in style.
