Monika is Polish, but she spent the last decade of her life in Bulgaria, where she started performing stand-up and won the national Inside Joke Open Mic Tournament 2024.
She studied linguistics, specialising in discourse analysis and verbal humour, so she basically has a degree in dad jokes.
On stage, she likes to talk about the little absurdities of everyday life.
This workshop is designed to help you craft original material, punch up your writing, and build the confidence to share your voice. Led by Monika, it’s the perfect space to explore joke structure, rhythm, and creative storytelling.
It’s not just theory—this session builds up to a chance to perform during the evening show.
Come prepared to write, laugh, and maybe take the mic.
