ABOUT CLASS:If you ever were curious in how to write or understand comedy, then this is for you. Get ready to hit the ground running as we experience working in a comedy writers room and break down famous sketch shows, learn to write the Five Comedy Scene Types that exist, and turn funny ideas (even small ones) into actual scripts and sketch comedy content for one-off and recurring sketch pieces/characters for social media and writing packets. PLUS win/win techniques for pitching your ideas to others (a powerful industry tool).Each student will also receive curated video resources to enhance their overall learning experience!No prior writing or comedy experience is necessary.
Class Size: 10 students, everyone will get plenty of feedback and individual attention.Length: Sessions are 3 hours, and meets for 6 weeks in-person.
