Laughter takes the spotlight on Saturday November 8th at The Imperial! Hosted by the always-hilarious Sarina Ochoa, this lineup brings a mix of seasoned pros, sharp storytellers, and fresh perspectives from across the country.
🎤 Hosted by Sarina Ochoa – Quick, clever, and fearless, Sarina has opened for comedy icons like Laurie Kilmartin and was Runner-Up at One-Liner Madness 2024. Her magnetic energy and razor-sharp wit make her one of Albuquerque’s favorite hosts.
🎤 Nico – A veteran of the Albuquerque comedy scene, Nico has been making audiences laugh for over a decade. After rocking the stages of Portland’s comedy circuit, he’s back in New Mexico with his signature style, hilarious storytelling, and sharp perspective on everyday life.
🎤 Jamar Hall – Described as a “cleverly blatant conversationalist,” Jamar delivers humor with intelligence and heart. Influenced by Sinbad, Bob Newhart, and Rodney Dangerfield, his storytelling turns misfortune into comedy gold. He’s performed nationwide, with one mission: to spread laughter wherever he goes.
🎤 Julianna Loera-Wiggins – Visiting from southwest Michigan, Julianna is a rising voice in comedy and the producer of Femme Feedback—the only open mic for trans, femme, and them comedians in her state. When she’s not performing or working on her dissertation, she’s running full speed on the rugby field. Expect high energy and fearless honesty.
🎤 AJ Matthews – A powerhouse performer in Albuquerque’s stand-up scene, AJ brings charisma and crowd-pleasing humor to every set. Known for his dynamic presence and quick wit, he’s opened for none other than Theo Von and continues to light up stages all across the city.
