About this Event
Roasting is one of the best ways to improve your writing skills! Because you must be very short, sharp + specific -- Comedy Roasts are the perfect writing exercise to help comics grow, whether or not you ever plan to compete. Join Tera in this 2 hour workshop for a fun, supportive environment. We will: Break down roast writing tactics, do writing exercises, and watch and discuss roasts from masters.
FUN FACT: Did you know often roasters work in collaboration? This is not just about being mean, but working together to create excellent jokes + entertainment!
Date: Saturday June 29, 7:45-10pm
Venue: Z-Bar
Cost: SUMMER SPECIAL - Because this is the first one of its kind, special offer (25€ Each). Prices will go up in the Fall.
Following this workshop, there is a 10:30pm show at Z-Bar. Students will have the option to perform, but this is not mandatory.
