Welcome to Comedy Retrograde, a one-of-a-kind comedy variety show where Berlin’s funniest comedians collide with tarot, intuition, and a touch of chaos magic.

Hosted by Anaita Azizi — a comedian, podcaster, and witch with 10 years of tarot experience.

Being equally experienced in completely different worlds, Anaita and Anshita are joining forces to bring comedy and magic together in this curated night of laughter, divination, and collective reality glitches.

The evening will open with a stand-up showcase, featuring some of Berlin’s most magnetic comedians performing their sharpest, funniest, and most soul-baring material.

Then, the night will shift into the mystical:
Three audience members will have their most pressing life questions answered through a mix of tarot reading and comedy improvisation.
Looking for love, a new job, an apartment, or a sign to finally leave (or never leave) Berlin?
The cards — and the comics — will reveal what the universe has planned.

Anaita Azizi is a Berlin-based comedian, writer, and podcast host best known for Change of Plans—a show that mixes humor and reflection on career pivots and life’s unpredictable turns. A regular in Berlin’s comedy scene, she brings the same wit and warmth from her podcast to the stage, turning chaos and reinvention into laughter and connection.

Our stage for the night is Kla.Motte Berlin, a curated second-hand shop that doubles as a coffee shop, bar, and community hub — the perfect place for a night that blurs the lines between the ordinary and the cosmic.
