For some reason being a mother of two with a "stay at home Dad" (which sounds so much better than "unemployed husband") while living with her parents is a great motivator for Patti to just get out of the house.

But Patti loves being a mom to her beautiful little boys. Griffin, who loves trains, Batman and talking as much as his mom, is the best big brother to Declan, who loves music, water and hugs. Declan also happens to have special needs, a part of Patti's life that she isn't afraid to talk about. She has begun sharing her story with humor and heart for groups such as the Iowa Department of Education, The Hope Network and Gilda's Club.

Patti doesn't dwell on the minutia of motherhood. She tackles social issues with a cheerful edginess that appeals to audiences of all backgrounds. Her hilarious take on the foibles of the human experience keeps people coming back to see what she has to say about relationships, pop culture and random encounters with strangers who have no idea she's cataloging their ridiculous behavior to share with audiences all over the world.

In addition to headlining in comedy clubs and colleges all over the United States, Canada and Europe, Patti has written and performed four hit solo shows for theater audiences:

"Tequila and Shamrocks: Every Flower Has Her Roots" "Pregnant Party Girl: From Stoli's to Stirrups" "Mamacita: Tales of a Diaper Diva" "Lipstick Mom: From Mommy To Mamalicious"

Patti has appeared in many comedy festivals including Just For Laughs, HBO's Las Vegas Comedy Festival, the Chicago Comedy Festival and Marshall's Women in Comedy Festival in New York City.

On television Patti has appeared on the Very Funny Show on TBS and COMEDY.TV along with regular appearances on the wildly popular Bob & Tom TV Show on Superstation WGN and their daily morning radio show syndicated in 139 cities across the country. And now, Patti is featured on the brand new reality series "My Life Is A Joke" on the OWN network

Janice Rodriquez - first name rhymes with Denise because she likes to be difficult), is a Chicago-based entrepreneur and comedian. When she’s not slaving over an unnecessary spreadsheet or micromanaging others, she performs her unique brand of stand up across the Chicagoland area. Janice uses her experience as being the whitest Latina she knows and an at best average marriage partner to tell her side of the story. Janice aims to bring a fresh perspective to topics related to her culture, Indiana upbringing (Indiana+culture=oxymoron), and her professional and personal lives. She’s also really tired.

Janice regularly performs at Chicago area comedy and storytelling showcases and has performed at comedy clubs Zanies, Improv, The Drop (South Bend), Laugh Factory, Comedy Vault, Comedy Bar Dubuque, LOL Comedy Club (San Antonio) Comedy Shrine, The Market Lounge, and Jackie Knights (St. Augustine, FL). She has also been invited to perform at several comedy festivals such as Chicago Women’s Funny Festival, SheDot (Toronto), Lady Laughs (Madison) and LaughFest (Grand Rapids).

Janice is a founder and producer of Las Locas Comedy, a comedy showcase that features Latina/Latinx comedic talent and our favorite locas of any background. Check out her performance calendar to see her at an upcoming show!

Lele Mason - Originally, from the greater Washington Metropolitan Area (DMV) she is best described as a very funny lady with a unique perspective. Using her Masters degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University; she learned to combine her understanding of organizational development with comedy to enhance professional environments. In 2012, she began her career in acting and comedy through improvisation at the world renowned Second City Training Center Chicago. There, she met and co-founded the all black female improvisation team EbonyEssenceJet. In 2017 she was selected for the fourth iteration of NBC Universals' Bob Curry Comedy Fellowship. While on her improv journey she wrote and starred in various one-woman shows. Making the transition to Stand-Up became a natural choice. She has been a public speaker, teacher, and corporate facilitator since 2005. She has taught in numerous capacities and subjects of grades K-12. She has the ability to connect with audiences of all ages. Now, she is currently working in professional spaces with companies that include: Second City Works and Radical Candor to help businesses and individuals enhance their organization. She understands team dynamics and the importance of communication. Her goal is to always maintain and support: inclusive, fun, brave, and safe working environments. You can now catch her observational, experiential, and curious approach on a virtual stage or stage near you.

Paul Farahvar - Chicago based Comedian Paul Farahvar delights audiences with dry humor, centered on being a single son of disappointed middle eastern parents and a former professional. After becoming a regular at Chicago stand up clubs like Zanies, Comedy Bar and Laugh Factory, Farahvar was given the rare opportunity to host and produce his own monthly (now weekly) called "Drink Date Laugh" about dating and a comedic game show called "Everyone's a Lawyer" both at the World Famous Laugh Factory. He also regularly tours the country as a headliner and opening for national headliners Demetri Martin, Jen Kirkman and Gary Gulman. He was runner up in the Chicago Reader for Best Stand up Comedian in 2021. His Dry Bar special is releasing in 2022.

In the last year, Paul has performed or headlined at Laugh Factory (Chicago, Las Vegas, Hollywood), Zanies, ACME Comedy Club, House of Comedy (Phoenix, Minnesota), Skyline Comedy Club (Appleton and Tacoma), Comedy Club on State (Madison), Loony Bin (Little Rock, OKC, Tulsa, Wichita), Off The Hook (Naples), Snappers (Tampa) and McCurdys (Florida).

He is also the host of the Podcasts SINGLES ONLY! (SWSW 2020, Best Podcast 2021 Chicago Reader) and MAKE US A MIX TAPE (iTunes, Laugh Factory Channel, Sticher), the comedy writer for Marquee Network's "Off The Mound with Ryan Dempster" and a regular guest host on WGN Radio. He played "Karam Haddad" on NBC's "Chicago Med" in 2017.

There are none in comedy. When you start, they say "respect the process;" I agree. Sometimes you obtain amazing opportunities that propel you and provide you a platform. What you do with those opportunities allow you to grow. If you're wise, you learn from them and will yourself to be better, whether it's writing or performing. I believe that if you want to do stand up comedy, you need to get on stage and develop your act and voice. You need to write. Eight years ago, I had my first weekend hosting for a national act. I remember thinking after I'd work harder than other comedians and achieve greater success quicker, due to my work ethic and business acumen from years in the music business. I thought I could be Chicago best comedian or one of the best Stand Up comedians in Chicago. I did obtain great some opportunities quicker but because I wasn't ready, I didn't develop and for years, I plateaued.

After leaving the law, I am able to write and take more chances on stage, which has grown my material and hopefully will lead to more headlining shows, like tonight at House of Comedy! I subscribe to the Malcolm Gladwell's 10,000 hour theory (10,000 hours to master a skill). Everyone differs, but I do believe that time and process allows one to find their voice.

Even 10 years in, I am still finding mine. #standupcomedy #chicagolawyer #careerchange
