THE COMIC LINEUP: Our next show features five experienced comics who will bring some big time giggles! This show includes Headliner Jeff Simmermon, Feature Act Vernard "The Laugh Therapist" Hines and Special Guests Brenae Williams and Brent Schreiber. Your host is Vanessa Fleming.

DETAILS: The Wyndham has been highlighting the best in regional stand up comedians for more than a year and these shows are a great way to enjoy an evening relaxing while pro comics throw jokes at your ears and eyes! A bartender will be at the show serving drinks and light snacks are available as well. Come hang out on the second floor event room for another night of laughter from some pro jokers!

HOST: VANESSA FLEMING
Your host Vanessa Fleming uses skills and experiences from years of improv and sketch performing to enhance her stand up comedy shows. Her natural humor and charm will be evident as she takes the stage to open this show! You've seen her at the Push Comedy Theater for the past five years and she is a regular at Cozzy's Comedy Club in Newport News. Come see her by the ocean on Thursday August 22nd!

SPECIAL GUEST: BRENT SCHREIBER

Special Guest Brent Schreiber is a veteran comic in the area who is a regular at all the major stages around town ---Cozzy's, The Funny Bone and the Push Comedy Theater ! His jokes are sly and calm but his punchlines will hit you with a playful force. His relaxed nature onstage makes it seem you are hanging out with a funny friend who you haven't met yet.

Fresh off her television debut on WTKR's "Coast Comedy Live," Brenae Williams can't wait to bring her fun to the Wyndham stage! She has gigged coast to coast ----from Flapper's Comedy Club in Los Angeles to the Funny Bone in Virginia Beach ! She got jokes! She got energy! Come see this funny lady bring the laughter to YOU!

FEATURE ACT: VERNARD HINES

His full comedy name is Vernard "The Laugh Therapist" Hines and you'll find out why when he grabs the mic ! His style of clean comedy is bursting with en energy and big laughs as he shares his comic perspective on everyday life and his military background. As a retired Army Veteran who battles PTSD, "the Laugh Therapist" believes that using humor while talking about mental health and sharing the challenges of family life is the best way to break the tension. His goal onstage is to get big laughs (and he gets em!) while also breaking the stigma of battling depression and PTSD. He delivers the jokes with enthusiasm and with a message. Closing out this show, is the very funny and very versatile Jeff Simmermon who is traveling down from New York City to grab the mic by the ocean!
