ABOUT THE COMICS:

HOST: ED PHILLIPS
Up first for the night is your host the witty and smart Ed Phillips. The trait of a great comic is having versatility and Ed proves it by being an accomplished sketch and improv comic actor as well as (thankfully) being a talented stand up comic. He is the Co-Founder of the Commonwealth Comedy Network which produces comedy shows in various venues and he has opened for Orlando Jones and Johnny Pemberton. Along the way, he has performed his nerdy stand up style at BlerdCon and Tidewater ComicCon. When he is not performing onstage, he is most likely at a yard sale or consignment shop looking for action figures. (This is true.)

SPECIAL GUEST: EDDIE ANTONIO

Hailing from Alexandria Va, Eddie Antonio is a quick tongued comic who originally started performing as a battle rapper. He brings his slick street wit and rap roots to his stand up comedy shows up and down the coast. Known for his dark humor and brash approach, Eddie has a knack for turning even the most uncomfortable situations into something hilariously relatable. Eddie Antonio is a busy comic who, simply put, delivers punchlines that linger long after the show's over. Come catch him on 57th Street!

SPECIAL GUEST: KATE BALDWIN

Growing up right here in Virginia Beach, Kate Baldwin is a big part of the Push Comedy Theater's "Panties In A Twist" production as well as the recurring "Love Me Tinder" shows. She also has been teaching and performing musical improv since 2016. You've seen her get laughs at packed-out show at The NorVa as well as other stages around town. She returns to the Wyndham on Friday November 22nd with her guitar in hand where she will share her personal comic twist parodies of some popular tunes. Come laugh at this local lady of levity!

FEATURE ACT: KORY KLING
With more than a decade as a producer, podcaster and stand up comedian, Kory will be bringing his funny, honest tales for the first time to the Wyndham stage! A chunk of his material is about retiring from the Air Force at age 37 after serving his country for precisely 20 years and 22 days. His military and comedy journey has taken him coast to coast, around the globe twice and into four different countries. He brings a bluntness to the stage as he talks about the ups and downs of his life experiences while making fun of himself along the way.

HEADLINER: VON MYCHAEL

Hailing from Chester, Va but now living in DC, Von Mychael is one very funny and chill comic who is always in the moment onstage. But don't let his calm vibe fool ya --- within a minute onstage his act cuts to the funny with honest road-tested smart material. His act unfolds with an easy-going pace that pulls you in to his world. Von grew up admiring comics such as Dave Chappelle, Ellen Degeneres, Deon Cole and DL Hughley. His talents and determination has landed him spots on the Apollo in NYC (where he won 2nd place!) and he is a regular performer at various Funny Bone clubs (where he has won the "Clash of the Comics" 6 times!) He has shared stages with Jamie Kennedy and John Witherspoon. This comic is on the rise! Come see Von Mychael close out our show by the ocean!
